Problem Disable crafting an item, allow admin/server to grant?

Hi,

I am starting up an MCPC FTB Unleashed server., I want to disable crafting of some items such as chunk loaders, quarries, etc.

But, as admin I want to be able to grant these items to users (through donations, etc).

What is a good mod to accomplish this?

At the moment I am running Essientals, GroupManager and Towny Advanced.

essentials + groupmanager, can be done with permissions.

Restrict the below permissions and people will not beable to craft the items, but can still place them if they have them (also, please note that one of the chunk loaders using an id and there are other items that use datavalues of that same id...so for that one you should use id:0 to restrict it and not just the id alone or else it will restrict all of the other items as well...I think it's the world anchor if I remember correctly)

I prefer TekkitCustomizer. Let's you restrict usage/placement/ownership so even if someone gets an item they shouldn't have it gets taken away as soon as they try to use it at all. Also can do scans of items people own and will remove restricted items as well.

You should check out FTBHelper. Just found out about it recently, but have been using it on my server and its great at getting the job done and very simple to ban items in whichever way you wish (inventory, craft, usage, etc)

Thanks for the replies everyone~ Messed around with TekkitCustomizer and it seems to do the trick. Still need to figure out dimensions for my mystcraft age permissions but I expect it to sort out fine. Thanks~
