I had to downgrade my FTB client and server back to 1.4.6 because when I applied the recent update, and added my server world to the 1.4.7 files, I came across an interesting error. The server starts fine, loads the world fine, and pulls no error. However neither me, nor my buddy(we just play by ourselves off my machine, no other players) can see the server from our FTB Clients. The server shows active, it's just not becoming visible to log into from the client. Switching back to 1.4.6 it shows up again. I did search the forums for an answer before posting here, and couldn't find anyone else experiencing this issue. I've tried manually applying my public IP to the server as well, to no avail. I can't even see it in 1.4.7 from my internal IP, the 192.168.0.X number, so it's not even seeing it over the LAN as active. If anyone has any insight on what it might be, I'd really like to upgrade to the newest version.

Again, there's no visible error, it's just no one can see the server, but the old server, version 1.4.6 works fine.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue and have been googling around and searching like crazy. My Java, FTB server and client are all up to date. I've already changed Twilight Forest's default age to 32 (our current list of ages stops at 31) in addition to deleting age 7 in order to give it room. No error, just unable to see the server on other machines.

Btw, Doomsie, can you point me to where you downloaded an older version of the server? I'd be fine with that option myself.

I just kept a copy tbh. I'm not sure where you'd find the older server client. hopefully someone will have a fix for this soon. Glad I'm not the only one.

Found the problem. It was the world I was trying to transfer over to the new server. Didn't want to work. So I guess for now, the fix is create a new world. At least that worked for me. Tried all sorts of files and configurations, but nothing else worked. Good luck everyone.

A new world works, what also works is downloading the worldfolder and run it onces in a client (the map needs to be converted to the new modpackversion), just make sure before you start it in the client that you also change the client configfiles to match the newly updated server (referring to for example twilightforest).
