Ok first of all I'm using the 1.0.16 Version of the Modpack and I'm trying to get my powersupply up and running. But I run into this problem where my are not connecting to my Combustion Engines. They are also not connecting to anything else. That means I cannot switch the Input/Output of the Conduit (as seen in the picture).

Also I'm playing on a server
So if you have any idea please help me. :)

The energy conduits in that version of TE3 do not have input/output modes, they simply will either receive or output power. It should be noted that I do not believe they will work with an MJ power source. Try using a RF power generator.

As said, Engines produce MJ, which now can't be moved with TE3's energy conduits.
Use the Dynamos from TE3 or the new generators from ExtraUtils (not sure if they are in in 1.0.16, but they are in 1.0.18) to produce RF which is the new energy system added by TE3.
Also: When you put an Energy Conduit to a machine that takes MJ (like a quarry) the RF will automaticly transfer to MJ (10 RF = 1 MJ)

In 1.5.2 TE used MJ as it's power source. Now with 1.6.2 TE has its own power gen, as stated above.
