direwolf20 pack Streaming requirement question

Hi folks,

I want to stream a DW20 pack. However, the only computer i got is a laptop, which is DELL XPS 15. So im wondering if my computer can handle a good quality(Not HD, but hope i can do HD) streaming output.

Here is my spec:

CPU: Intel Core i7 - 2620M 2.70GHz
Ram: 6G
Win7 - 64bit system

Also, i just test my internet speed by using speedtest.com. It shows that i have 28mbps download speed, and 5 mbps upload speed.

Your PC looks fine so far, but the internet seems quite tight. It should work for 480 I guess, but 720 and up will get tricky. Also, the distance to the server you plan to stream on and how well the MANs are constructed make a surprisingly high difference depending on your area. This is something you can resolve best by testing.

Then you might wanna switch your provider. Internet via satellite is always an option, as long as you can afford it.

It recommends at least 20Mbps for 1080p streaming, but i must say that 720p is already high quality, and i doubt your laptop runs higher resolution than that.

Also i find it hard to believe on 28kbps... You know back when we used DOS there came 56kbps dialup modems which are higher tech than that. That was in early 90's or before i guess. Show screenshot on the speedtest results?
