Problem Direwolf20 pack not loading

If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

So I am able to install the direwolf20 mod pack through the FTB launcher. However every time I try to load it up it gets stuck on 'processing work OBJECT_HOLDERS'. I am on a mac book air I have never had a problem with previous direwolf20 packs or with vanilla 1.18 minecraft. If anyone knows what is causing it to get stuck on this particular thing every time I try to load the pack and how to fix it it would be much appreciated.
