Hello,

I am wondering about the auto backup feature that comes with the modpack, it runs multiple times per day, forcing me to purge the backups folder over sftp. is there a way to limit the amount of backups done, or an easier way of removing files from ingame.

also, is there a way to restore from a backup other than replacing the world folder with a backup manually?
 
What version of the modpack? The older packs have a config setting for how often to back up... I think the mod was called "Aroma" or somesuch.

The versions a month or so old are now being backed up by either FtB Tweaks or FtB Utilities. If you see a column of icons to the left of the inventory then you are on a newer pack. If I recall correctly there are settings in one of those tabs.
