I don't have any of the extra islands in the end. Is that happening to anyone else?

Did you mean the end cities and the chorus flower islands? To access them you must kill the Ender Dragon, and then throw an ender pearl through the small portal on the edge of the main island. Or you can travel outwards around 1000+ blocks from the main island.
