i seem to be having some issues with the latest version of the modpack. The first issue came up when opening the world were their was an ID conflict (aside from that which was to be expected) i also have been having problems with one of my chunks. I don't know why but whenever the chunk gets loaded i comes up with an error message saying "2013-12-12 18:26:44 [SEVERE] [MapWriter] data length (4092) or version (2) invalid for chunk (12, 5)" after that chunk loads my game get's lag spikes until the point it freezes and crashes. on top of that i can't save and quit the world and log back into it without the game crashing. I don't want to sound unappreciative to the great work of the FTB team in managing to get this modpack out as early as possible i just wanted to post the issues i have been having. In case you wanted the pastebin: http://pastebin.com/XjJCFXNa

[Minecraft-Server] Encountered an unexpected exception OutOfMemoryError java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
Apparently there is a problem with map writer using a lot of memory. The mod author is aware and is working on it.

Your Java ran out of memory. According to the above quote by UniZero you need a lot of memory to use MapWriter for now. You have a 64bit computer and are using 32bit Java. Get the 64bit version allocate 2GB and try adding these arguments.

After re-installing java 7 and removing java 6 i am now limited to 1GB of ram and the game can no longer load up

after closing down a lot of my background programs i have managed to muster up my memory usage so i can now run the game however it is still frustrating that i went from 4GB to 1GM of allocated memory but you can't do anything about it

After re-installing java several times i managed to get a version that ran at 4 GB of ram on a 64 bit version of java
