Welcome. Unfortunately Direwolf20 1.6.4 pack requires 2+GB allocated to run best or really at all. With less you will either as you have run out of memory or have extreme lag. In order to allocate more than 1.5GB you need a 64bit OS, computer and Java. Look here for more info, the bolded beginning. If you do have a 64bit computer you then need a 64bit OS so you can install Java 64bit.
