Right there on lines 32-38 of that crash report is this:
Code:
Details:
        Entity Type: TConstruct.LandmineFirework (tconstruct.entity.item.EntityLandmineFirework)
        Entity ID: 86
        Entity Name: entity.TConstruct.LandmineFirework.name
        Entity's Exact location: -80.11, 122.89, 127.75
        Entity's Block location: World: (-81,122,127), Chunk: (at 15,7,15 in -6,7; contains blocks -96,0,112 to -81,255,127), Region: (-1,0; contains chunks -32,0 to -1,31, blocks -512,0,0 to -1,255,511)
        Entity's Momentum: 0.38, 2.17, -0.56

from that i can tell

1. a tinkers construct landmine entity is causing your problem
2. the entity ID is 86
3. its location in your world is -81,122,127 or at 15,7,15 in chunk -6,7

use mcedit to change the block at that location to stone or some other vanilla block.

Yes, I can see that in the crash report. My problem is that navigating to that location brings me to a spot in the air above my town. I tried deleting all blocks and entities from around that spot and even tried recreating that whole chunk. Still crashes.

i believe you can use MCEdit to remove any and all entities from a world, but i dont know how to do it

I need slightly more specific instructions than that. I worked on this until 3am last night. I looked at the crash report and navigated to that location in MC Edit. I found a few entities there, but erasing them didn't solve the crashing problem. This world contains a project that has taken me about 2 weeks in addition to projects others have built. I could really use a fix for this world-crashing bug in FtB.

Just in case someone knows the quick fix and it would be faster than explaining it, here is the offending world in question.

a link to your world is more or less useless unless you specifiy the version of FTB you used to make it (direwolf20 1.4.7 or Direwolf20 1.6.4?)

never mind. got what i needed from the zip

Thanks a lot! I hope this works. :)

We just moved to a faster server, so we're all excited about continuing our projects. While the town around spawn isn't much to look at right now, I hope you had a moment to admire my sky fortress nearby. :) Only the last 20% of it was done in creative mode.

No problem. I probably can't get back to working on this until this afternoon, so it should be done uploading by then. If you can give me a file hash (an md5 or sha1), that will help ensure I got the file intact.

Thanks again!
