I had the same issue with a "magma cube".
Forge.cfg had an option to auto remove ticking/erroneous entities without the server crashing. I set this option to true and haven't had a problem since.

Your report states that a pig is your ticking error. Will this option remove just the one pig or all of them? Idk, but it won't hurt to try it.
