Launcher crashes when trying to launch the pack. I deleted all mods, packs, launchers, and other FTB files on my computer and re-downloaded them, to no avail. I also updated to Java 7, to no avail. Here is my pastebin: http://pastebin.com/0AShArFG . You cam probably guess what I am going to ask of whomever reads this.

These steps are for Windows. I don't have any %appdata%. It even says that at the top of the page.

I did that similar thing and got the same results, I will backdate to Java 6 (had Java 6, same problem). Do you think that there is any point to deleting my direwolf20 1_6_4 folder and my FTB launcher again?

If you still have problems, do what I did. When you open the launcher, click on the Direwolf20 1.6.4 pack and navigate to the Options tab. Then click on Advanced Options and where it says Additional Java Parameters type:

-Xms256M -Xmx5120M -XX:NewRatio=3 -XX:SurvivorRatio=3 -XX:TargetSurvivorRatio=80 -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=8 -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=10 -XX:GCPauseIntervalMillis=50 -XX:MaxGCMinorPauseMillis=7 -XX:+ExplicitGCInvokesConcurrent -XX:+UseCMSInitiatingOccupancyOnly -XX:CMSInitiatingOccupancyFraction=60 -XX:+BindGCTaskThreadsToCPUs -Xnoclassgc

The bolded parts of that code are where you would put however much RAM you would like to allocate in MBs! I also have 8GB or RAM and that is what I used. After that, go to Control Panel/System and Security/System/Advanced System Settings. Then click on Environment Variables and delete the _Java_Options code. After that, go to Control Panel/Programs/Java and navigate to the Java tab. Click View and in the User tab, you should have 1.7 in the platform section. If you have anything in the Runtime Parameters section, delete it and then click OK, then Apply, and OK. Now just restart your computer and everything should be fine! :D

I use an apple computer *cough* no viruses *cough*[DOUBLEPOST=1389051814][/DOUBLEPOST]
FYI the troubleshooting page is outdated (and it only works for Windows)
I have not been given a version that is exclusive to Mac users. I don't own a Mac, so I can't make one for a system I don't know.

There is a workaround made by a user in Technic forums for all mac users who has crashing problems.
I have no idea if that will work for you, but trying never hurts, right?
Remember to rename the commands to ftblauncher and whatnot...

Most bug threads with crashing and upside down windows I've seen has all been from mac users.

I do enjoy my virus-infectable, mainstream, unhipster-like operating system :) I do hope you enjoy yours too;)
Edit. was talking about my windows, just in case it was unclear

Add this to the pile.
Still haven't found a solution that works for everyone getting this problem

For reference (and for anyone else who might make the connection):
