So 2 things here, one the rei's map that is included but disabled in this pack is for 1.6.2 and won't function, several errors pop up.

I found I can enable zan's just fine but I can't figure out which mod is the current map/radar, I really don't like it and I wanted either rei's or zan's back when I enable zan's the draw on top of each other and fight for being on the top rendered frame. Anyone know what mod or cfg I need to disable/edit to turn off the current default map?

I'd really like to know this too I can't find the mod in the list to disable it. I've been to the mods mod page and apparently the mod name is MapWriter-xxxx.zip but it shows in neither the mod list on the launcher and doesn't show in the /mod/ folder either. What's going on?

Somewhere over the rainbow.
You can have both Zan and Opis Mapwriter enabled, just turn off the mapwriter map with the default key which is N if you didn't change it to something else, it will alternate with different mode of the map and one of them disable the map on the screen, I love the mapwriter map because there's a mode to show loaded chunks so you can clearly see which chunk is loaded (in green its by the player connected and in blue, its force loaded chunks with chunkloaders)

What key is it to access the zans menu?

If Direwolf is consistent and didn't change it from 1.5.2, it should be the minus or equal sign that are near the numbers on top of your keyboard, I changed mine so I can't tell you which key he choose for it, I think that by default, its the M key and I think also that you can change this one in the controls of Minecraft...
