Hi guys,

I know it is probably a bit early to post this due to the pack just coming out, but I am really keen to play FTB again.

Anyway, my computer has issues running mods on minecraft and is barely playable without Optifine. Just wondering how I would go about installing Optifine on FTB. I have tried a couple of ways but they don't seem to work, probably cause I am doing it the wrong way.

Any help is appreciated, preferably from personal experience

Thanks in advance,
joosha

Hi Joosha,

See here, but remember Optifine is not supported by alot of mods that are in the latest packs.

You would put the optifine into the jarmods when using edit mods button.

But as Haz has said optfine does not work well with the mods. You could try using the jvm arguments from this thread here. To use them you will need 64bit java which in turn requires a 64bit os.
