Direwolf20 1.6.4 (1.0.4) Where's the frame motor's and frames at?

Hi guys,

But I was wondering if the frames/frame motors are still in Direwolf20? As I seem to see lots of people using them on series but no speak of when or if they even did get taken out of this pack?

I would really like them to make a door and I think this is the only way because of the doors size.

Finally if they happen to have been taken out as I suspect would anyone be kind enough on explaining if there is a way for me to get them into the latest Direwolf20 pack and running on my server?

Look at the mod list, there is no RedPower2 for 1.5.x+ So no frames or frame motors. Project Red has added a few items from RedPower in new code, but frames are something that just about every modder has had difficulty re-creating. Now before you ask why someone does not just update RedPower it is because it is closed source and the author has quit updating it. Closed source means that only the author can update or copy that code, everyone else has to use new code.

You might want to check out the drawbridge blocks from tinker's construct. They've added some advanced versions, you can probably do some larger things now. They're good for doors.

Also, MFFS 3 has frame-like bits to it, though it's a bit more expensive, I think.

The modern frame quarry that was pioneered in 1.5 by RedBoss from these very forums is ME Transition planes being moved by MFFS force manipulators.

It's more powerful than RP2 frame bores ever were. It's actually much easier to build an inchworm drive. You can even move railcraft tanks intact using them.
