Details of the issue The download on the mod pack page fails and getting a 403 error when attempting to download with cpml. Downloaded from the Ftb page but zip only contains 2 mods, foam fix and IE.

guess you mean cmpdl

Zip-file is correct - the other mods are listed in the manifest.json (as CMPDL checks in and downloads) - guessing it's a distribution thing not to include everything in the zip-file.

Do you get more info than just the 403 error?

What os are you on?

Well, it appears to see all the mods and starts but stalls at "Loading - Initializing Minecraft Engine" for a while then crashes out.

Don't see anything in the crash report stating why. It appears, at least to me, that everything loads...

Guh, nevermind.

Always double check your work to make sure you don't anything out.

Forgot to set the Java Argument for garbage collection to 3G. Incase you didn;t know, at 1G the DW20 1.12.2 pack chokes out and dies.

I guess you mean max memory allocation (-Xmx) - setting GC to 3gb might actually cause issues for you.

Recommended amount to allocate is 4gb (max memory allocation -Xmx and nothing else), - depending on how much ram you have on your machine, keep it between 4-6gb (no reason to give more than 6).

I currently have it set to 5g. Still a little sloggy though. Need to look into some better garbage collection arguments.

I have something similar, but no 403 error message.

I somehow messed up my DireWolf20 installation since I was looking if there was an update and ended up with having to reinstall it (am using Twitch)

For me Twitch installs only the FoamFix modpack.
Note: it says it is installing everything, but when opening minecraft it does not show the Direwolf menu, but a fairly normal minecraft menu.
Both the mods folder in the minecraft directory as the 'installed mods' in Twitch only show FoamFix as installed.

I already removed the complete Curse directory and reinstalled everything, but nothing helps.

Note: Twitch did update for me today (haven't played it for 2 or 3 weeks).

CPML? Now you have me boggled (I'm quite new to FTB)

I'm using the old minecraft launcher for playing FTB (since the new one does not support the latest java). Minecraft is of course 1.12.2
I've attached the largest of the 3 logs I found in Curse\Minecraft\Instances\FTB Presents Direwolf20 1.12\logs
I don't know if the Twitch live application has any log, if so please tell me where to find it and I will upload it as well.

If you are hijacking support thread with unrelated message(s) it is very likely that I'm answering OP's question even if I'm not using reply/quoting and I probably will ignore your problem(s)/question(s).

Note: I'm not trying to hijack.
But on other forums they always tell people: don't create a new thread if a similar thread is already existing.
And since the problem occurs while downloading the DireWolf20 1.12.2 pack I thought I had to post my similar problem also in this thread. My apologies if I'm wrong.
