[Direwolf20 1.0.20] Monster Spawner Question

Hey Guys,

My question is how do you make it so the vanilla mob spawners constantly spawn mobs without the player having to be near the spawner? I tried using the ChickenChunks chunk loader but it didn't work.

AFAIK a player has to be near a spawner for it to continue spawning.

Correct. If you need constant mobs i suggest cursed earth

Don't forget that cursed earth is still subject to mobs despawning when the player is a certain distance away (128 blocks sticks out in my mind for some reason?).
