I'm sorry I didn't see any other place where I could get a crashlog looked at, while it's not an official FTB pack with universal configs I thought we were supposed to be able to drag and drop mods from one pack into another.

I did not copy all the mods, I left out metallurgy, archimedes ships, arcane scrolls, and maybe one or two others. I used the ATG and COFH configs from Horizons.

Here is the crashlog

If this is not the appropriate place, where should I have posted this? I didn't see another support section.

Official staff can only provide support for official packs at the moment. Not because of a contract or anything, we just don't have time to do anything like this, nor is it particularly easy to provide support for a pack that you've never even downloaded.

As a quick note, I suggest following these instructions. http://desk.feed-the-beast.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/9/0/basic-troubleshooting
Something I noticed immediately was that your Java is out of date, so following those instructions may help.

Thank you. Updating Java isn't even something that I had thought of, I did update it and it still crashed.

I'm keeping a record of what I've done to fix the issue so that anyone else encountering this problem knows what went wrong and how to fix it.

After swallowing the fear I took a look, MFFS_v3.5.0.255 was the mod that was causing problems. The solution was to download and install UniversalElectricity_Core_v2.3.0.197 in the mods folder. No config file changes or additions were necessary.

In addition to that after I got it running with the posted 1.0.4 Universal configs I still got ID conflicts, which I will post below.

#Blocks
2034: bop.beetroot from BiomesOPlenty - MoltenCorium from ReactorCraft
2039: ReactorModelled from ReactorCraft - naturalGas from gascraft
2040: Steam from ReactorCraft - shaleResource from gascraft
Suggested Ranges: 3018-3170 (153 IDs), 3753-3897 (145 IDs), 855-974 (120 IDs)

As you can see Reactorcraft has some ID's that overlap. I changed the MoltenCorium ID to 3050, ReactorModelled to 3051 and Steam to 3052. This has resolved the ID conflicts

After the addition of Universal Electricity and the ID changes the pack started and ran fine. If I run into any other issues I'll update this thread.
