I have launched and set up my server correctly but about 2 minutes into the launching my terminal and the server window comes to a sudden halt at this specifik line:
[VARNING] [ForgeModLoader] Redundant call to BiomeDictionary.registerAllBiomes ignored

I don't know how to fix this problem and I have made sure to give the server launcher enough time to load and everything but it always stops at this point, please help me!

Please both of you post a full server/console log to pastebin.com not just a snippet of it.

I was having literally the exact same problem, unfortunately switching to java 7+ didn't seem to make a difference at all.

To troubleshoot i would recommend attempting to run a vanilla minecraft server to determine whether or not its a port-forwarding issue, a java issue, or an incompatibility of some sort. It helped in my case because the vanilla server console gave me more info than the FTB server did. For me it turned out to be a port forwarding issue that i couldn't resolve in any way shape or form because of the router i was using. (Not sure if thats what was stopping FTB from loading, but it surely stopped the vanilla server in it's tracks so I assumed it was.)

Also, If all else fails and you're only wanting to get a server online to play with a few friends, you can rent a small MC server hosted through one of the various MC Hosts for very cheap. I'd look into it, and sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I have tested the port and IP and they work. I once happened to do something really weird when launching a 1.6.4 vanilla server and then immediately launching a FTB server, the server would be open and I could log in via FTB and the server would generate a FTB world with new biomes in it but I was unable to craft any of the new items or block.
