Ok, but it sounds like I'm not the only one that has found that the pump can no longer do 20 buckets/t. Which is fine, it is what it is. Just wanted to make sure that was the case.

I run it at 100 MJ/t with three. How do you need five?

The limiting factor might be the speed the pump can move down at. The pump's "pipe" always descends at the same speed, no matter how much power you give it (it even descends at the same speed without power). The pump will not pump any liquid blocks lower than the bottom of the pipe.

As I recall, the limiting factor is not the amount power the pump receives but how quickly you get the liquid out of it. Try placing an enderttank directly against the pump, or several, with no ducts or pipes in between.
