I can confirm that whatever happened, it cleared the single chunk the quarry was in down to ground level.

It's called a chunk reset, it's where the game decides something so bad has happened in that chunk, to prevent corruption it regenerates it deleting everything that wasn't there on generation of that chunk.

Did you by any chance have an EnderChest form the EnderStorage mod in that chunk?

Yesterday I made a quarry in the twilight world. The quarry was standing in middle of a tree. It was running by 2 magmatic engines. The tank was right next to them. When i came back today, most of the tree was burned down. The tree was VERY BIG!!! Nothing! Did the engines explode? I thought that they don't explode.

Yea I was using red stone conduits in t.w with wonder chest twice I come back it was gone .it has to either be they do blow in t.w ...a bug. Or the elder chest or ender tank I'm use in for liq,and items is the problem like buddy said .ill try tessaracts then normal chests I guess .
