did magic crops change in latest monster update?

I designed my crops on the fact that i would not get secondary seed drops, which was the default (and still is as it is disabled in the config)...seems the mod ignores that setting because now i see there are a TON of secondary seed drops coming from my crops.

im not complaining about the extra drops, but certainly didnt expect that to happen, and when i looked in the config for magic crops in the monster pack, secondary seed drops are indeed disabled

or did the rules change for manual harvesting? I still use the water flood method and that is generating a lot of extra seed drops...wondering if that has anything to do with it

I think it's based on difficulty, or at least it was meant to be. Not getting extra seed drops was meant to be something for hard mode but Monster 1.1.0 had it as the default for normal. Maybe that changed in the update?
 
Just checked a fresh copy of Monster 1.1.1 and it still shows the same unchanged config for Magical Crops. Second seed generation is still disabled. Are you sure you didn't download something that changed the config?
 
no, in fact i have a lot of mods disabled. only thing thats updated is big reactors, and i did add item translocators from the dw pack. it *shows* disabled in the config, but in game, im getting extra seed drops. i dont think the mods paying attention ;) or as i said, perhaps its different when machines harvest vs manual or water flood harvesting
 
If you are using MFR harvesters they seem buggy and will dupe some of the seeds but not all of them it happened to me with my obsidian seeds
 
nope. im using water flooding. it only happened after i downloaded the 1.1.1 update, thats why im asking
