Diamond Miniblock Leftovers

I'm not exactly swimming in diamonds in my world, and my frame venture was quite expensive. The diamond drawplate was only a diamond cover (1/4 a diamond block), so no big deal there. The issue, however, is that the other 3/4 of the block...I don't have any way to convert it back to regular diamonds, nor any real use for it. Is there any way to convert it back?

Pretty sure you can turn a diamond panel into 2 diamonds

Indeed you can! Is there any way to convert a triple panel into single panels? I stupidly crafted the panel and cover into one.

You'll almost definitely need more diamond draw plates- I would leave them as is. But that is just me. Savouryjesus is correct- 1 diamond panel=2 diamonds. Not 100% efficient, but enough if you desperately need diamonds.[DOUBLEPOST=1362792252][/DOUBLEPOST]You'll need to craft another diamond block to get your triple panel into single panels again (adding a panel to it to turn it into a full block).
