Diamond mesh vs. iron

Playing Sky Factory 3 and just trying to figure out what Diamond stiffened mesh does over Iron stiffened mesh, looked around for a while but just didn't find an answer to my question, so I guess the question is what is the difference?

It gives you other drops - you should see it using NEI / JEI - checking the usage of the block.
