Detecting Players

OCCS is being removed from Unleashed.

Is there any way to detecting a player now?

Glass pressure plates for Infamy/Ampz players, shrouded silent pressure plates from Obsidiplates for everyone else.

Once Secret Rooms gets fixed, you can use the hidden pressure plate blocks as well.

For minecart systems, you can use the player detector from Railcraft.



I would say we're still in pretty good shape for detecting players.

I was kinda avoiding shrouded plates, since they're quite visible.

I'm not sure why OCCS has to removed. Heard smt about OpenPeripherals replacing it on twitter.

glass pressure plates are also kind of noticeable depending on what they are sitting on since they use the vanilla glass texture.
