Derping around in New World pack... Wait, WTF?

So I'm looking at my world in the New World pack, going through the usual stuff after spawning when I see a two line message in chat.
The first line says:
"Living entities detected in airspace!"
The second says:
"Prepare for multiple impacts!"
I run back to my base to put all my stuff in a chest.
I run back to the area I got the weird message, because of curiosity, and get an even weirder message:
"Comet Kitties incoming!!!"
Cats with space helmets start raining from the sky, leaving craters everywhere.

Be thankful that didn't crater your house. Collect meteor shards b/c they make nice armor and can help you make a shield that prevents meteor impacts at your base. Also that rumbling explosion sound you hear is not creepers. Scared me into Alt+F4ing the first time I heard it.
