Deployer alternative for sulfur goo?

Well while building an auto tree farm I found out that sulfur goo doesn't work with a deployer for some reason (bonemeal is fine). Id rather not have to make a skeleton shard but if there's no other option I suppose I could.

Are there any other deployer type machines that simulate a right click?
