Problem Dedicated FTB Infinity Cauldron Setup Problems!

So I've recently purchased a 16gb server from Minespan and have been trying to set it up for a couple of hours now and have finally given up so I'm wondering if you could help me setup a DEDICATED FTB Cauldon Infinity server

I believe you are only supposed to use the kcauldron libraries. I found this info on minecraft forums and its not easy to find good instructions to setup the servers. Run the ftb server first then.......

If you already have Forge installed this is what you do.


1) Stop your server.

2) Delete your server's forge jar file.

3) Delete your libraries folder

4) Upload the Cauldron jar file.

5) Upload the Cauldron libraries.

6) Modify your startup script to use the cauldron jar file.

7) Start your server.


I'd recommend just using the latest version of KCauldron.

yives miror has the latest kcauldron and the patches / fixes


one other thing.... if you run essentials plug-in.... i think there is an issue with fastcraft. It may have to be removed... i remember reading about it somewhere..not sure if it was essentails plug-in or forge essentials verson, but one (or even both) of those add-ons don't play nice and will crash the server. it was one of the many google searches i did while gettin by butt kicked on the cauldron modded server setup
