Dark clouds help???

Hey, I have yet to make my dark clouds produce lightning like in the description... any tip? only answer I saw on the forums was "Try wearing a wool sweater and find some wool carpet" any help greatly appreciated

What mod are dark clouds from? What pack are you running. I'm not familiar with the mod, and from the lack of answers, it doesn't look like anyone else is either.

I think they are just more likely to be hit with lightning during a thunderstorm.
Unfortunatly there is very little documentation on natura, and mDiyo has said he's not interested in it anymore aside from fixing bugs and updating for new version.

Natura does add "clouds" to the world, but I've never heard of them making lightning. The ones from the nether are black and yellow, and can be turned into coal dust and sulfur respectively. The ones in the overworld can be found above y=185, and not sure what they can be turned into.

dang... i guess i'll have to do a lot of testing in single player then, thanks! :p And netmc, the dark clouds are in the End and their description is "produces lightning" or something like that, the overworld clouds do nothing that i am aware of except looking nice

That makes sense. I haven't made it to the end since I installed Natura. That might be why I never noticed the dark clouds. This gives me one more reason to head to the end sooner rather than later.
