D/cd from FTB server for "Flying" with jetpack - HELP!

Hi...I have been playing on a private FTB server for a while now but logged on today after having not played FTB for a week or so and I am now getting a problem when using my jetpack (the standard electric jetpack).

I am being disconnected at random whilst flying with my jetpack on and the server issues a message saying something to the effect of "Disconnected: Flying is not enabled on this server" even though others are able to use their jetpacks or gravi-chest plates etc and our server does have flying enabled.

I've also found when I reconnect after getting the error my jetpack is no longer in my inventory and has not been dropped on the ground etc so I am having to make new jetpacks constantly. Can someone please help me get to the bottom of this?!

Is the option set right in your server.properties?

allow-flight=false

Like above is the default value false, change it to true and reboot the server.

The people who can fly with their jetpacks / gravichests are they OP by any chance?

Sounds like Ness is right. Flying is probably disabled on the server.

I thought IC2 had code in it to force enable permission to fly for a player when using the jetpack, but I may be wrong.
