Curved staircase?

Hello everybody
So I was trying to build a curved staircase
I try a lot of time building this
This was my result in building it.

I'm not 100% happy at my crosshair point towards the slabs
Please give me more info on my building errors

Curves are a pain to do- 3D curves even more so.

Try building in a flat circle first, then stair it up in the same shape.

(Its one of the few time's I'd suggest creative mode)​

Is that a slab missing at the top there?

Each layer going up the "curve" has a width of three diagonal slabs, then five slabs, then three slabs, then five... I'd make 'em all five.

Otherwise looks really good to me.

I believe so - specifically, the "Naelego Cel Shader". I've used it before, quite neat.

Curve stairs are indeed a pain. The bigger and wider the curve the easyer it will be to get to look right. But you can make it work for smaller cruves like yours. Just relize it will look blocky so it more important to pick a sort of pattern and stick with it becuase looking uniform in this case is better then being a prefect curve.
