It used to be hard to make a modpack; so only people who could do hard things made them.
Now you can literally copy/paste someone else's pack and release it publicly.
And so now, when you tell someone you have a modpack, they just roll their eyes. The first pack I made I posted it on Minecraft forum and within a few days people were doing LP's of it. Very small channels, but it was fun watching people play it.
I got banned from r/feedthebeast recently just trying to explain my new pack. They only want screenshots. I can't describe gameplay with a screenshot.
So frustrating. So much rudeness, but standing up to the little punks just gets you banned.
