Crystal cluster research - thuamcraft 3

I was doing a lot of research lately and came across crystal clusters.

I put in the "trade" "magic" and "crystal" aspect and it came up

But when I clicked on the completed research, it disappeared and didn't show up in my thauminomicon and I keep seeing everywhere that you have to use knowledge fragments but I didn't so I'm confused. Please help!!!

I got it without fragments, sounds like you may have a faulty install or something. Try cheating another in and see if it shows up after that. If you need something like fragments you'd need them before you ever get the scroll from the table, just FYI.

Anyway, I believe the fragment requirement was removed - they were needed in an earlier version when they were just added in.

Which begs the question, what version are you running OP? What daemon is talking about was removed either right before ftb beta or right after.

I'm using the latest version in the mind crack ftb pack but I'm running on smp (not sure it makes a difference)

Well you should have it in your thauminomicon in that case, try a relog or even a server reboot.

Or just research it again, you know what to do to get it.
It's not ideal but really a few seeds and some chiseled sandstone, there's worse.
