crucible problems

hi,every time I throw something into the thaumcraft crucible it dissapeers but does not show that any essentia is in the crucible I have a heat source and the crucible bubbles,any help appreciated

Do you have the Goggles of Revealing on? I think you need those to see the essentia contents of a crucible. The Thaumometer might also work, but I haven't played TC in a while, so I don't remember.

A real thaumaturges doesn't use glasses - he trusts that the rest of the nodes near player bases to dissipate that flux for him.
