Crippling lag FTB Revelations Twitch launcher

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Hello
I bought a laptop with plenty of ram and a decent graphics card and windows 10 and it should have no trouble running this mod pack
Ftb revelation 1.12.2

I've tried changing allocated ram for the pack and Java and turning down settings but it's still bad enough that I couldn't even play last I tried

Any other suggestions?

Follow instructions found here to share full log:
https://support.ftb.world/

Also share specs of your laptop.

Thanks for this
I saw to click repair profile and that helped a lot

Was up to 35 fps after it got going again but with a few lag spots

Still wondering why it's so slow though
My laptop is an Asus tuf:
(AMD R7-3750H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, 512GB PCI-e SSD, 16GB RAM, Windows 10
I'm wondering why it's so slow even when I've turned all the video settings down as low as they can go. I'd like to be able to lan with my girlfriend as she got a new laptop too but I'm not sure it will work

Looks like you're using the integrated graphics instead of the Nvidia card, from your log:

GL info: ' Vendor: 'ATI Technologies Inc.' Version: '4.6.13558 Compatibility Profile Context 26.20.11016.1' Renderer: 'AMD Radeon(TM) RX Vega 10 Graphics'

Make sure to use the Nvidia card and try again, also lower allocated ram to 4-6gb (8gb is too much).

Instructions for nvidia card can be found here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/2cl3xj/got_asked_how_you_get_decent_fps_in_minecraft_on/

If you still have issues after this, post new full log.
