Request Create dimension mining

I have a server Infinity FTB Evolved, I want to create a mining world so that it can restore each x time, with a portal in the spawn.

Recommendations?

Note that in Infinity FTB Expert mode the mystcraft ages are disabled. RFTools dimensions are allowed but EXTREMELY end game.

Is mystcraft disabled? or can link books still be used (I rather hope not)?

PS. Thank you for making your matter transmitters work better than Portal gun portals. I'm so tired of getting stuck in the ground every time I use a portal to a not-very-loaded chunk.

Linkbooks can be used. You just cannot create ages.

I'm currently craftnig the ink mixer who has tons of prerequise !! Why this craft is available if we cannot use mystcraft ?! Especially with a high requirement for the craft !!! Can i enable the age creation in the config files ?

You can still use link books.
You just can't craft descriptive books.

Well... The link book is not as useful as it should be without the descriptive books...
Is there any way to enable the creative book in the server config ?
Mystcraft without the creative book will be really annoying and outmatched by plenty of mod...

That seems entirely against the point and spirit of Expert Mode, which I believe uses the RFTools power requirements and all round better control over the produced dimension, as its balance point for dimension creation.

Such fun and games trying to dig the block out from underneath you - yes this is possible - or finding that stack of enderpearls buried in one of several bags of holding, all whilst jittering in one spot like crazy!

I rather hope the Portal Gun mod author can fix this issue, I'm sure they'd be aware of it.
