Title Crash with DM pedestal and watch of flowing time

Details of the issue I enabled the watch of flowing time to speed things up, it works fine when I turn it on in my hand but when I try to turn it on, the game immediately crashes. When I come back to the save after launching again I have to use a backup as I crash instantly. Other items on the pedestal work fine. For the record to enable the watch, I enabled the watch in the projectE config, set it to 18 bonus ticks (default) removed the watch from the JEI blacklist so that it appears and then use /ctgui craftingtable to add the default recipe for the watch.
