Windows .exe Crash while going to inventory. NEI related?

I crash when going to my inventory. I think it has something to do with a search I was doing on NEI. I had shift dblclicked/clicked the xycraft world thing, and then backspaced some of the text it put in the search bar. Now I crash every time I go to my inventory. Is there a way to clear the search without being in the game?

This is on MindCrack pack.

I had the same problem. Simply go into your saves folder, NEI, local, "save name", and delete the NEI.dat file. This resets the NEI data in game and should fixe your problem.
