Crash when placing any form of mircoblock

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title:
Crash when placing any form of mircoblock
Launcher Version:
Most Recent
Modpack:
FTB Infinity (Modified version)
Modpack Version:
1.5.1
Log Link:
Details of the issue:
Upon crafting or obtaining a microblock and having it appear in my inventory, the game has a tremendous lag spike, freezes, the game then displays a simple screen of one straight color, then crashes.

Are you using a saw from projectred or forge microparts? Try again with the other mod's saw and see if its the same.

Same result, no matter the way it is obtained. I don't think it's the actual action of crafting them, but just having them in my inventory causes the crash.

A whole lot, I can post the new mod list if you think it'll help. Also, any microblocks added by Extra Utilities don't cause the crash, which means that I can add in one of the "impossible objects" without the game crashing.

Still having issues with this, and I haven't really seen any other mention of this bug, so I'm not too sure what to do. Help would be greatly appreciated

The problem is there's been so much change its like......where do we start? Lol. I've looked, and I see a few mods that may do this. I'll be trying them myself to see if I can duplicate your crash so you know which is causing it. As for a fix, can recommend any until pinning the problem down.

Ill be at my computer in about 2-3 hours, so expect my verdict sometime today!

After some messing around, and a very small bit of issue searching, this is a known issue.

Basically, what is suggested is to navigate to your .minecraft/mods/1.7.10/ folder, and delete CodeChickenLib and ForgeMultipart, start the game and let it redownload itself. Try it out, and see how it goes.
