Mac Crash when joining smp/ssp (Mindcrack pack)

Since the update for FTB Mindcrack to 8.2.0, I havent been able to join a server, or generate a new world. And for some reason, the worlds I had before have been corrupted. When I join a server, I can do stuff for about 3 - 5 seconds, then I freeze, then crash. I have tried re-downloading the pack, and everything I can think of, but I still can't play FTB.

Hey Man Got A Fix
Open Your Launcher Got To Options Click Advanced Options And Where It Says "Additional Java Parameters"
Type In
-XXermSize=64M -XX:MaxPermSize=256M[DOUBLEPOST=1363611121][/DOUBLEPOST]Instead of the smile face it is the 2 dots and a P

Hey I'm having the same problem across the board for FTB (Ultimate, Mindcrack DW20......)
When I tried your solution I got this message in the console:

Unrecognized VM option 'permSize=64M'
Could not create java virtual machine

Is this due to something not being up to date, eg. Java.
Any light that you can shed on the problem will be much appreciated.
