Crash on loading world

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title:
Crash on loading world
Launcher Version:
1.4.7
Modpack:
FTB Infinity
Modpack Version:
1.7
Log Link:
Details of the issue:
When I attempt to load my world, which has always loaded fine before now, it attempts it, returns to the main menu, appears to attempt it again, then crashes either just before it finishes, or the second the pause screen flashes up. I really don't want to lose the world, I've put a lot of work into it, and I'm hoping it's something fixable.
While it may or may not be relevant: I added Archimedes Ships+ and Craftguide, but they've deployed perfectly the last two or three times I played.

Can't see the log because it's set to private. You need to make it public.

Also, I don't have a solution (sorry), I'm just here to see if I'm getting the same error so I don't accidentally create another thread on the same topic.

You don't need to give the launcher that much memory 4gb is more then enough. Also try removing all java versions and update to the latest java 8 64-bit.

Okay, how do I do that? I didn't change any settings, best of my knowledge. I just downloaded and started playing.

The crash report I posted above is the one I pulled directly from the modpack. The only thing I have in Roaming is the launcher stuff, which doesn't have any crash reports. Anyplace else I can look?

In the launcher's options tab, check the boxes "Show Console" and "Reopen launcher when Minecraft exits". Then launch your pack again and when the crash/error/other problem occurs, click the "upload log" button in console window and give us the link.

Okay, let me try a new question: Why is nobody even taking potshots at this? I just want to play a world I've spent a lot of time in. Is it really that hard to help me?

Maybe because no one knows/cares enough to answer you. Were not getting paid to solve your problems.. But you want my 411? Your world's corrupted. Try using this guide. Best of luck.
