Crash often FTB Magic pack "Exception in server tick loop"

Sorry if this is wrong section but i would really like some help with this

hello all...looking for some help here...gunna post on mcf after this...got the magic ftb mod pack on our server and we keep getting this error and crash
any idea's please

Crashing about 5-6 times aday nowwe are using the v5 pack on multiplay dedicated

Still getting this issue too. From what i can tell it's a known bug in the version of Thaumcraft we have in FTB, and the update to 3.0.1 fixes it.

3.0.1
- now with bonus Adventure!, Action!, and Discovery!
- changed to a new, hopefully more stable, save format for auras and research.
- fix for random 'AuraWorldTicker' crashes, the Revenge
- the opening animation that plays when a golem interacts with a chest can be turned off in the config
- fixed an error where stone and clay golems were using their own 'home' facing when placing or retrieving from marked containers instead of the marker block facing.
- rumor has it that Squidward has started dabbling in magic
- doubled the length of the redstone pulse Arcane Ears emit
- tweaked the percentages for research. It will probably be a good idea to delete them from your config if you want to use the 'official' numbers. The correct numbers will be re-added the next time your game is run

Since it seems a few people are experiencing the same bug while running servers, making it tricky or impossible to run them unattended, i hope a new build for Magic World will be released soon to bug fix this problem. In the meantime you can try adding it to the pack manually and see how that plays out.

There is a way to temporary fix this and update to the latest Thaumcraft version on the server. You then have to distribute to all the clients that connects with that modpack version. You have to replace the modpack on the server and the clients.

Download Thaumcraft3.0.1b.zip from http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1585216-145-thaumcraft-301b-updated-16122012/ and replace the one in the mod dir on the server. And on all the clients aswell.

That will fix the NPE-crash.

Edit: I did it on our server for some days ago and it works much better :)
