Details of the issue:
When I press launch, it comes up with an error and sends me back to the launcher instead of launching the game with the modpack.​

Not sure if this well help. But first try to force reload the pack. Seems there is a problem with java library files. Also you may want to review this article about update LWJGL: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Update_LWJGL

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/lwjgl/LWJGLException​

If that doesn't work, I noticed you java 8 and java 7 on your system. Java 8 isn't being used because it is the 32 bit version. You could try to remove 7 and replace it with the 64 bit version.
