TBH neither have I, I'm way, way, way too stupid for something like that, but it was just an idea.

another grand case for learning to bite the bullet and set up multiple backups. humans never learn no matter how often this is recommended, until something sets them afire for ignoring it, and even then..

mcedit may work without destroying things. make a backup before you edit the map.

if mcedit does its usual and turns half your world into soulsand or the like because it doesn't like the mod blocks in the region of the change, you could also try temporarily disabling either factorization(barrels) or forestry(beestuff) and loading the map once with them off. all the blocks from whichever mods were disabled *should* become smoothstone, but at least that'd get you in, at which point you could reenable the mods and set about repairing losses.

i'd imagine there are a few other approaches to boot.

good luck.

Well I've tried MCedit and coulnd't load the map but only a blue void instead. I did dowload a 64b version of MCedit for my windows is also 64b. I downgraded minecraft to 1.4.7 but nothing helps.

I tried disabling factorization and/or forestry and then I get an error : Forge Mod Loader has found problem... the mod forestry is missing.
Sorry but I just don't get it !!

You would need to disable Factorization/Forestry on both the server and your client to get it to work...
