Crash deletes world folder

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Details of the issue I was grinding and suddenly the game crashed.
The big prolem is that i went to re enter the world and it wasn't there. So i looked for help on the internet and it seems like you need the folder, but it's no there!
I think the crash happened when a charged creeper exploded (as i had the grinder with witch water)
For some reason the explosions do damage blocks even if i /gamerule DoMobGriefing false and even if they are in witch water.
The deal, the world is gone with folder, not even the minimum trace of the world and i was pretty advanced, as you could imagine, i am really pissed off.

Were you on the hard core game mode? If you died to the explosion when you crashed then that's why your save is gone

Technically, no, i wasn't, although i was loosing lives every time I died, i've even died from explosions.
I remember that i did die a little before the "doom crash" aaand. The environment data (from EnviroMine) was not availible. I died with that "missing" information.
I think that's what caused it.
I shouldn't have said: Hey! no more heat or thirst! yay!
Well, people learn from mistakes, some of them are huge, unforgiving mistakes.
