Hello fellow forum-ers,
I have been so excited about this modpack watching episodes on youtube, the mix of magic and tech really grows on me.
Anyway, I have gathered the following information related to its release:

I've heard that major changes will be coming to the Crack the Beast server soon. I'm not sure if this only applies to the rules they use, or if it extends to the actual mods, but...

They might be waiting to update the pack (in whatever way) before they release it publicly.

I'd assume that both him and Baj are flooded with requests to open the pack to the public already.

If you want to try, though, I would recommend the Twitters of Guude, Baj, or the good old mindcrack reddit.

EDIT: I put in more links! Hooray!

SUPER EDIT: Biffa posted this thing a few hours ago. He states that release of the pack is "imminent", so we shouldn't have to wait much longer.

Just checked out Biffa's post, seems great!
I'm suspecting Mindcrack are probably going over it with FTB right now.

To sum up that reddit post...

Blood Magic and MPS were added to the pack, and BoP terrain was enabled on the server.

All the mods are in the latest version.

Baj stated on the reddit post that "Imminent is a strong word to use as it has not even been made into a pack yet." He did say later, though, that "most of the work is done" in the pack, so I assume they're just looking for bugs before they release.

/r/crackthebeast is now a thing! Apparently it'll be the main place for CtB news.

Commence the hype.

it'll be released 1 week after the last person asked when it'll be released.

I dont get all this inpatience, the FTB and Mindcrack crew are proffesionals and are taking their time, they wont release a buggy mod-pack. If you really want the pack then build it yourself.

I'm one step ahead of you, I have done everything you just suggested, but failed. I just cannot manage a modpack, I'll leave that to Mindcrack.
You have just answered your own question. The FTB team and Mindcrack are professionals, I am not, so how can I possibly make a modpack.
Anyway, this is hardly impatience. We have been waiting for about a month patiently and now we just want some answers.
