Hi All,
So last night I was playing some DW20 and all of a sudden the server went offline. I checked the server (Ubuntu 12.0.4) and discovered that in 24 hours or less my .xsession-errors log completely filled my available ssd drive with 100G+ of errors. Unfortunately that meant that the world and player data could not be written to disk and minecraft crashed. Like went down in flames crash.
All attempts at starting the server with that world have not worked. I can restore it to a back up that is several days old, so all is not lost. I did read about some windows tools like "Chunkster" and " Minecraft Region Fixer" for Bukkit. I was just wondering if anyone has tried any of these tools on FTB worlds? Do they work? Are there any chunk or region tools for FTB specifically? My world loss is not so bad, but I do want to try and fix it if it's possible. If nothing else I would like to understand how to fix it should it happen again.
