So Continuum. The latest FTB pack(ignore the egg hunt) directed more towards Expert than Kitchenskin. The Hype for this pack was fairly large. I did see a few people question the pack and that was understandable.
Now, after roughly 2 months of release, I want to post my own conclusion on how the pack is.

Long story short, I did not like it.

The Efab, a mod specially made for this pack, was a huge aspect of the pack. It was also equally horrible of a mod, or at least the way the pack used it just made it horrible. Not to mention how some of the recipes in there were also available outside of the machine and were also less time-consuming and cheaper in almost every aspect.

For example Printed Circuits from AE2. These were craftable in the Efab, but requires
-gearbox
-50K rf @ 500rf/t
-power upgrade
-digital upgrade
-5 seconds(which isnt bad)
Not to mention the addons you need to the machine multiblock to do this, which are also annoying.
On the other hand, you can craft the exact same thing via Inscriber, the normal way. The issue with this? You cannot get the press. Meteors do not spawn in the world(or at least you cannot find them easily as the compass is disabled).

Ok, so only one recipe works. my question is, why is the Inscriber recipe still there? without the press that recipe is 100% useless. I did check and confirmed that there is a use for the Inscriber itself, but that recipe isnt. This is just one of the points in which FTB is basically being lazy with their pack. I get that its probably difficult finding and deleting all the recipes that they made an alternative and actually working recipe for. But imo, they should of removed the original recipe the second they put in an alternant one. This recipe will just confuse the players, even if the Questbook tells it to you(which it doesnt).

Thats just one issue I have with this pack. Another is the quests itself. This modpack is meant to be expert correct? In that case you can just scrap 90% of the quests on here
Almost all the quests I have found to be completely unrelated to progression. the first questline, "It's like a whole new game", was mostly progression-related. the rest, were not. After the first questline was complete you could honestly just throw away the quest book because they are just basic goals that are basically optional but forced on by the questbook. Its a complete waste.

last issue i can think of is the limitations set by the pack. First off, there is only 1 end-game power gen. Not a big deal. There is also only 1 set of power storage options. Also not a big deal, if only the power storage options straightup didnt suck.
in case you didnt catch it, they suck.
Not only are their recipes absurdly expensive, they also cause a ton of lag and barely store anything in comparison to their cost. its absurd. I would of been ok if the power option was Thermal or EnderIO, but no it had to be this...stupidly expensive Powercell from RfTools Power. The limitations really hurt your playerbase, just saying.

in the end, this pack was just bad. The idea was good(as usual) but the execution was horrible. Im sure this pack can improve in the future, but right now it needs a serious surgery to fix itself.

Edit: also...any way to change my username? I regret this one lol
