Hey guys,

I wondered, if there is any list existing, that sums up the consumption of a machine to produce a special item.

eg.
Logger: 100 MJ -> 1 Log + 0-1 Apple + 2 Sapling
Pulverizer: 1 Block + 10 MJ -> Result
(These values are not right.)

The articles on the wiki often do not provide such information.

Thanks.

The Energy Quick Reference might be what you're looking for in terms of Buildcraft / Forestry machines. For most Thermal Expansion machines, the needed energy is shown in NEI when you view the recipe.

For Thermal Expansion machines it's pretty easy, if you want to produce at max speed you will have to feed them the max MJ they will take. All of them have internal storage and for most TE machines that's enough for 1 or more operations, but as the storage drains the machine will also slow down (so you might be able to run a Pulverizer at 1 MJ/t, but it'll be slower than if you run it on 2 MJ/t).

For Forestry machines, most of them take a constant stream of power even if they aren't working (there are a few exceptions, but as far as I know that goes for all the farms and harvesters at least). You can run them at less MJ/t than required, but they're most effective at their recommended MJ/t (which is relatively low for most farms, usually ~1MJ/t).

For the BC machines that require power I don't know, but I think they use similar mechanics as the Forestry machines (in the sense that they don't have much of an internal storage and that they work best at their max MJ input).
