So currently I'm playing on a SMP server running with the default Mindcrack pack (8.0.1) Over the last few days, a few users along with myself have experienced a issue with constant disconnects. In my personal case the error I gather on each disconnect : java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed.
Now first thing to come to mind was something up with my internet, reset the router, modem, and had my ISP provide me with a refresh signal. Keep in mind, at no point did i lose connection via any other programs running (Browser, IRC, etc.) The only disconnect was coming from Minecraft. After completing those steps, the issue continued.
The next thing i thought of was reinstalling FTB as well as the mod pack. All files deleted, and started over with a fresh install, to my avail, no change.
The last two things I've done was update Java to 7. 13 and play around with the firewall (off and on) to see if those were the culprits. Neither case solved the problem.
Today I had I had a moderator TP me far away from the chunks i was in. To my surprise I was able to stay on, for just a few seconds longer, and at which case the issue began again, no difference in the chunks.
So now i'm here, looking for advice, solutions, or anything any other player could think of. Please help? I miss my TNT
